Ryan K. Foncannon, MBA, CLTC, NSSA
Ryan grew up in Vincennes, Indiana. He graduated from Vincennes Lincoln High School. He went onto graduate from Vincennes University with an Associate’s in Business Administration. He decided to transfer to the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, where he has been since 1999. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and a Master’s in Business Administration from USI.
Ryan started his career in the summer of 2006 after getting his M.B.A., with Combined Insurance Company. He really liked meeting and helping people. This offered him the opportunity to do so. He then went onto a career with Banker’s Life & Casualty. They offered more products, but still did not do a great job of offering products that were in ‘the best interest’ of the client. Ryan then decided to go onto a career with Great American Senior Benefits, which later became American Senior Benefits. He went onto to get promoted to Field Trainer. But, even though they had more products, they still didn’t offer a full portfolio of products that would allow him to be unbiased and be able to do what is best for the client.
That led to the development of S.W.A.N. Financial Solutions. ‘SWAN’, stands for Sleep Well At Night. A company that is unbiased and will do what is in the client’s best interests, always. We talk about solutions and are not ‘product pushers’. Ryan went out and researched the best companies for each particular solution to find the best products at the cheapest prices & in the best interests of the client. He has partnered with the top advisors in the country in each respective field to provide the best solutions in the country. Seeing the significant need to help pre-retirement, retirement, and conservative communities in Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky, he has built a tactical and strategic financial planning firm, developed upon strategies, ethics, and performance that allows his clients to Sleep Well At Night.
His professional registrations include a Series 65, as well as Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Long-Term Care Insurance Licenses. He also has his National Social Security Advisor designation. He is the only financial advisor in Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky to have this designation, at this time. Ryan Foncannon is a fiduciary financial advisor, meaning he must always put his clients’ interests first. Brokers, on the other hand, are generally not held to the same rigorous standard.
